Privacy Policy
We collect as little as possible to run the analysis you ask for. Here is exactly what we keep and why.
Effective date: September 9, 2026
1. Who we are
Audi-Lyze ("we", "us") operates the website and analysis service at audi-lyze.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, what we do with it, who helps us process it and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email support@audi-lyze.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and a secure password credential. We do not ask for your name, phone number or address.
- Submitted videos — the YouTube video URLs you ask us to analyze, and the date each analysis was run.
- Analysis results — the reports we generate for you: video metrics, audience themes, opportunities, ideas, the comments we managed to read, and the coverage notes attached to each run.
- Usage data — how many analyses your account has run in the current period, so we can apply your plan limits.
- Billing identifiers — your subscription status, plan and billing period, plus the transaction references Paddle sends us when a payment, renewal or cancellation happens. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are handled by Paddle and never reach our servers.
- Browser identifier — if you analyze a video before signing up, we store a random, meaningless identifier in your browser's local storage so that analysis can be moved into your account when you do sign up. It is not a cookie, it is not shared with advertisers, and clearing your site data removes it.
3. How we use your data
- To run the analysis you request and show you the results.
- To store your reports, saved ideas and history so they are still there when you come back.
- To apply and display your plan limits, and to bill you when you subscribe.
- To keep the service working: detect failures, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse and enforce the acceptable use rules in our Terms of Service.
- To contact you about your account when necessary, for example a failed payment or a material change to the service.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.
4. Third parties that help us operate
We pass only the data each provider needs to do its job, and each of them is bound by its own privacy terms:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication and file storage, so your account and reports are kept securely.
- OpenAI — receives the public comments and video metadata from an analysis so its model can generate the audience report. We send only the data for that analysis, never your password or payment details.
- Paddle — our payment provider and merchant of record for Pro subscriptions. They process card details and send us subscription status updates.
- YouTube / Google — we read public video data and public comments through the official YouTube Data API. Your requests are visible to Google under its terms and privacy policy.
We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or to protect our users, our rights or the safety of the service.
5. Retention
- Your account, reports, saved ideas and history are kept while your account exists, so you can come back to them.
- You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing support@audi-lyze.com from the address on your account. When we process the request we remove your personal data and your analyses, or anonymise them where keeping an aggregate figure is necessary, such as a billing total.
- We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction requires.
- Comments we read are stored only as part of your report, so another creator's comment is never shown to you outside the report for the video it came from.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored as salted hashes rather than plain text, and the database is protected by row-level security: every report, idea and usage record is scoped to the account that owns it, and a signed-in user can only read their own rows. Secrets such as the YouTube, AI and payment keys live on our servers and are never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, so if you notice something that looks wrong, tell us at support@audi-lyze.com.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, to withdraw consent, or to complain to your local data protection authority. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.
To make a request, email support@audi-lyze.com from the address on your account. We will verify it is you, then respond within 30 days. Emailing us to request account deletion is the quickest way to remove your data, and you can do it whenever you like.
8. Children
Audi-Lyze is a tool for adult creators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Transfers outside your region
Our providers run data centres in different countries, so your data may be processed outside the region you live in, where the law may differ from yours. We rely on our providers' own safeguards — contractual terms and standard data protection measures — to keep that data protected wherever it sits.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. The version on this page is always the current one.
11. Contact
